🏀 Attack with purpose.

One of the biggest misconceptions in basketball is that you need a bunch of dribbles to get to the basket.

You don't.

The best players learn how to lead themselves with the ball, cover as much ground as possible with each dribble, and get downhill in just one or two dribbles.

Less dribbling means more efficiency, quicker decisions, and fewer opportunities for the defense to recover.

At RTB, we're constantly teaching our players that sometimes the fastest way to the basket is also the simplest. 🔥

🏀 RTB Florida Day 5 Recap 🏀

Friday’s middah focus was Simcha (שמחה), and the boys heard a shmooze about the importance of not allowing the success or failure of a basketball game to determine our happiness. True simcha comes from appreciating all that Hashem gives us and recognizing how much we have to be grateful for, both on and off the court.

Friday’s sponsor was Joe’s Pizza, and we are very grateful for their support in helping make the week such a success.

Friday’s special guest was Coach Oz, who spent time with the boys sharing advice and lessons from his many years of coaching players at every level. His message about hard work, character, and growth left a strong impression on our campers.

We wrapped up the week with awards, prizes, and giveaways, including Nike gear, backpacks, and lots of other great swag. Most importantly, we celebrated an incredible week of basketball, Torah, friendships, and personal growth.

Thank you so much for trusting us and for sending your boys to RTB Florida this year. We loved every minute of it and are already excited for RTB 2027!
