Tulum on my mind! Found this in my drafts from last December, however this trip was in June 2025!

La Zebra Hotel (formerly Lula Hotel) is one of my faves in Tulum. They have turn down service served with tea & cookies! 🍪🛏️🫖

Their restaurant is a must try, breakfast lunch or dinner!

Also a great option for entering into the beach in Tulum!

POV: You booked Tulum for an Eat, Pray, Love experience, expecting two weeks of beach bumming… but the seaweed said, “Not today sis!” 😭🌊😂

The beach was a NO. My dream sculpture was UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I was one inconvenience away from booking a flight home.

But plot twist… Tulum still had some magic up its sleeve! From unexpected disappointments to discovering the breathtaking @sferik.art museums, I learned that sometimes the best travel experiences happen when your plans fall apart.

Would you have cried or made the best of it? Be honest! 👀👇🏾

Jenita came back from Tulum talking about the cookies.

Not the beach, not the view. The small moment of walking into the room in the evening and finding tea and cookies already waiting from turndown service. There were hammocks around the property too, which she used the way she always does: a book, a breeze, and a nap she did not plan on.

Rest is rarely the thing you book. It tends to be the thing a property makes easy, in details nobody puts on a website.

What small touch has made a stay feel genuinely restful for you?
