Sprinkled with Awesomeness
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
For 20 years in the hair industry, every time I created something outside the limits of what people had seen before, the first accusation was always the same: “That has to be Photoshopped… that can’t be real.”
It was never about the work. It was about the limits of their imagination.

And now it’s happening again with my art — the same reflex, the same insecurity, the same projection.
When people meet something extraordinary, something beyond their skillset or worldview, their ego panics. Jealousy speaks. And instead of expanding, they default to:
“It must be fake.”

Nothing about my process is fake. My work — in hair, on paper, on canvas, on walls, on clothing — has always been analog, documented, lived, and earned.
And I’m only getting better. In every medium I touch.

So let me say this clearly:

I am not here to shrink my shine because someone else can’t handle the glare.
I’m not here to make my genius smaller to soothe someone else’s insecurity.
And I’m definitely not here to validate the people who try to dismiss what they can’t comprehend.

There are artists everywhere doing extraordinary things — and we’re done being humble about it.
Y’all pissed me off just enough to remind me who I am.
So from here on out?
I’m shoving the receipts in your face every single day.
If you can’t handle it, that’s not my problem.
