It all started with red trims and tinted lights… I really thought I’d done something too 😂

From the little mods I could afford when I first bought my Peugeot 107, through every questionable phase, different look and “I’ve got an idea” moment… somehow we ended up with Pugatti. 💀

Looking back at every version makes me realise this car has basically grown up with me. Some looks aged better than others, but I wouldn’t delete a single era because they all got it here. 💜

Which version would you have stopped at? 👀

People be talking about my car like I built it for them 😭🤣

I’m happy with it. That’s all that matters 🤌🏽

Build it weird. Build it loud. Build it completely different to what everyone else would choose. 😂

One of the best parts of the modified car community is seeing completely different ideas come to life. Your car build should reflect YOUR taste, not whatever happens to get approval online.

Not everyone at car meets is going to like the same style, wheels, colour or modifications… and that’s literally what keeps car culture interesting.

Find your people, enjoy your build and stop giving random opinions more value than they deserve. 🫶🏼

September is Suicide Prevention Month 🖤

But mental health doesn’t suddenly become important on September 1st, and it doesn’t stop being important on September 30th.

Check on your mates. And actually mean it.

Check on the loud ones, the quiet ones, the ones who are always taking the piss, the ones you haven’t heard from in a while, and even the ones who seem completely fine.

The car community is supposed to be exactly that: a community. Cars might be what brought us together, but the people will always matter more.

Invite someone to the meet. Start the conversation. Send the message you keep meaning to send. Listen without trying to fix everything.

And if cars, meets, shows, working on your shitbox or simply going for a drive gives you something to look forward to, never underestimate how important that can be.

September is Suicide Prevention Month.
But looking after each other should be every fucking month. 🖤

The bit we’re proudest of on Luke’s new site.

Every job gets its own page, with Luke’s own words underneath it. The colour swatch beside each one isn’t picked off a chart — it’s measured straight out of the photograph, so the page is genuinely the colour of the car.

lbautoworks.co.uk. Built for LB Autoworks in Ripley.
@lb_autoworks

Details like that are what make a website feel like it was made for you and nobody else.

@lb_autoworks website is live.

LB Autoworks is a body shop in Ripley: bumper and panel repair, resprays, colour changes and custom work. Luke does the kind of job where the whole point is that you can’t tell afterwards, so the site had to show the work properly.

Have a look at lbautoworks.co.uk.

If you run a trade and you’re still sending people to a Facebook page, this is what your own site could look like instead.
Our messages are open.
