What is BAITBUILD? 🤔

It’s an app for bait makers, but what I’m building goes beyond recipes and keeping things organized.

As a bait maker myself, I know how much time, trial and error, and heart goes into something that might fit in the palm of your hand. I also know how much it means when someone shares a tip, encourages your work, or helps you figure something out.

That’s the spirit behind BAITBUILD. A place to share what we’re making, learn from each other, and help more people find their place in this craft.

My hope for the future of bait making is that we keep passing that knowledge along. That someone pouring their first bait feels welcome, and someone who’s been doing it for years still finds inspiration.

I’m building BAITBUILD with that future in mind, and I want this community to help shape it.

This is just the beginning. More to come.

Casted this bait 1/20 , on the last run which is this video I learned many things . Split rings and clips don’t mix , who knew 😂 I directed connected it to the clip and ran it fast as it’s a sinking and digging bait . Well it got in the strike zone fast and did work , the lure is 10/10 will take skill to put together for type of fish you want but stripers running bait out would kill this

I asked to tighten the drag , we had 50/100 line , I figured the weakest link would bust , tied a FG knot then a SD jam to a 110 lb swivel , the jerk bait we sell is rated at 300 lb and split wrings at 120 . The weakest links where trebles I took from a YO ziri , all the captains on the team said it’s hard to bend them out so . Decent fish we learn ; we believed it was a cabrilla and he was running to a huge rock cave . #geezarebornnotmade
