For our very first West Virginia wedding, we had the joy of celebrating Emma and Chris — and their day was nothing short of magical. They spent the morning getting ready with their bridal party at the stunning @theruffner, in the heart of Charleston, WV. Their ceremony concluded with a “snow toss” exit, and the festivities continued as Santa himself made a surprise appearance at the reception.
Guests danced the night away with candy-cane foam wands and enjoyed late-night Taco Bell before Emma and Chris ended the evening with a romantic sparkler exit. It was the ultimate winter wedding dream come true.

I am not one to set goals, but I would like to get better about posting my weddings. There are always so many beautiful moments to choose from and it gets overwhelming, so I tend to not post at all - but I’d like to change that.
This wedding had a few notable moments that brought tears to my eyes. One during the private vow reading from the groom: “your love feels nostalgic” 🥹 They were celebrated with such excitement!

2025 WEDDINGS: BLACK + WHITES

Fun fact: We deliver every single photo to clients in color - even if there was funky mixed lighting, even if it was super lowlight, even if the color edit is tricky.

I think with the right edits, most photos actually look best in color… but the photos that sing in black & white REALLY sing.
