🆘 Jonah is due for euthanasia any time TOMORROW… and he has not received even ONE inquiry 🖤 #A2289378

Maybe it’s because he’s a mix. Maybe it’s because he’s a black dog. While so many of the other dogs on the euthanasia list have gotten attention, not a single person has inquired about Jonah…

So tonight, we’re sharing some of our favorite shots of Jonah to show everyone what we see: a truly beautiful boy, inside and out. 🥺🖤

Jonah is only 1 year, 5 months old, 60 lbs, and deserves the chance for someone to finally see him.

🚨 LAST DAY: 10/2
💔 Scheduled euthanasia: 10/3
⚠️ Behavior disclosure: should be the only dog in the household.

Please share Jonah. He cannot afford to stay invisible.

Duke🖤A5748233 has been at the Agoura Animal Care Center since JANUARY. He is coming up on 9 months in the shelter, making him our longest-stay resident. Nine months of watching other dogs come and go while he waits for someone to choose him.
Duke was adopted in April, but sadly returned about a month later because he wasn’t a fit for a home with bunnies or turtles. Since coming back, Duke has continued to show us what a fantastic dog he really is.
Duke is a playgroup superstar and gets to participate every week. He loves playing with other dogs and even helps new dogs acclimate to the shelter environment, giving them confidence and helping them get ready to find their families. He spends so much time helping other dogs get their second chance, but somehow, his chance still hasn’t come.
He’s smart, playful, loves his toys, and knows SO many tricks. Duke would love to have a person of his own — someone who will appreciate his goofy personality, keep him busy, and give him the life he’s been waiting for.
Duke has been overlooked way too long, help us find him his forever family. #blackdogsofinstagram #adoptdontshop #seenequalssaved #pitbullsofinstagram #peanutbutter

URGENT: Shine needs rescue AND foster commitment by 9/9 (TOMORROW) at 4 PM ‼️ Without it, she will be euthanized.

Just 4 months old and 31 lbs, Shine is a vibrant little puppy with her whole life ahead of her.

Even with pain in her hind leg, Shine’s extroverted spirit hasn’t slowed down. She still wants to explore, make friends (both people and dogs) and LIVE with her vibrant happy puppy energy ✨

Reason for euthanasia: abnormal gait & pain in hind limbs. We took her out on Good Samaritan to the vet today and her radiographs showed an abnormality around the hind leg/knee that the radiologist felt could represent small fractures or possibly a congenital issue. She needs an orthopedic evaluation as soon as possible to determine exactly what’s going on and whether anything needs to be done. Until then, she needs rest, leash walks only, and pain control.

But this is only one small part of Shine’s story.

She is 4 months old. She is joyful and social… She is really hoping for a beautiful life ahead of her.

✨ Help Shine keep shining. She has so much life left to live. Can anyone foster this sweet perfect girl?!

Luna 🌙 is only 11 months old… and she will die on 9/9 if no one comes for her ‼️

Luna is a timid, scared little pup still learning how to feel safe. She was surrendered after a single nip when a kid fell near her.

But Luna truly comes out of her shell around other dogs. Her favorite thing in her old home was playing with her canine sibling.

She would do best in a kind, patient home without unpredictable kids and maybe with a confident dog to show her the way and be her emotional support buddy.

Luna is a 51lb, 11-month old, Australian kelpie mix. She’s just a baby 🥺
