21 Savage hosted his 10th annual ‘Issa Back 2 School Drive’ in Stone Mountain, Georgia, where his Leading By Example Foundation provided backpacks, school supplies, shoes, and food to 2,000 local students and families ahead of the new school year. During the event, he also announced the expansion of his Bank Account financial literacy program into 10 DeKalb County schools.

Developed in partnership with Get Schooled and Juma, the program teaches students money management, banking, and college savings. Its free online platform also makes financial literacy resources available to young people nationwide.

Yesterday, we held our Second Annual Financial Literacy Celebration for graduating seniors at Martin Luther King Jr. High School here in the Fifth District. It was a special day as we honored students with certificates, T-shirts, and financial literacy workbooks.

To make the day even more memorable, 21 Savage surprised the students and shared words of encouragement about the importance of financial literacy and building a successful future. This event was especially near and dear to my heart because both of my children attended MLK.

Thank you to our partners, Leading By Example, Wealthy Habits and the DeKalb County School District, for helping make this afternoon so special and for your continued commitment to empowering the next generation through financial education!
