🖤 LIVE REVIEW – CREEPER 🖤 Blood, coffins, beheadings and an emotional singalong! 🦇🔥 Creeper kicked off their Off With Their Heads tour at Tramshed in Cardiff on October 9, delivering a brilliant night of music and theatrics. From Hannah’s stunning vocals to Will’s dramatic beheading, there was plenty to take in. But the real highlight came during the encore, as the crowd kept singing Misery long after they were supposed to stop, leaving Will visibly moved. Our Liz Birt was there to review the night, with support from Calva Louise and Starbenders. 📸 Photos and review by Liz Birt. 🔗 Read the full review at the link in bio. #Creeper #OffWithTheirHeads #Tramshed #Cardiff #LiveReview

Devildriver don’t ease you in – this record punches you straight in the face from the first track and keeps swinging. Expect brutal breakdowns, next‑level drum fills from Davier Perez, and Dez Fafara on absolutely savage form vocally. Highlights include the heavier Skindred‑style chorus on “Dead in the Water”, the teasing calm of “In the Moonlight”, and the ultra‑relaxed opening of “Summoning Shadows” before the chaos returns. Strike and Kill is an in‑your‑face, technically deadly album from start to finish. If this doesn’t get you pitting in your room, then what will? Full review via the link in bio. Motionless In White are celebrating 20 years as a band and the release of album Decades (July 17) shows a solid progression while still paying homage to the last two decades. I’ve never been disappointed by a Motionless In White album and I would like to say I’m surprised at just how good Decades is but I can’t because I am not surprised at all, they’ve absolutely slayed throughout the album and it has been my most anticipated album of 2026. From start to finish, the album is full of clever lyrics, angst, pit-worthy breakdowns and hooks that will get you jiggy. The mix of absolutely brutal songs from start to finish with the more synth-laden tracks works really well and you don’t know what’s coming next which is a good thing. I love how the experimentation with more synthy, gothic electronica just works so well but of course the heavier tracks are signature MIW and absolutely fabulous. “The album has quite a few good hooks throughout it, including in Better Angels. I love the blend of emo and pop punk that comes across throughout the album. It mixes some great guitar lines with drum fills and some understated bass lines while Greg Barnett’s hypnotising vocals shine as the vocal point.” See what else Lizi thought about The Menzingers’ new album Everything I Ever Saw (July 17), over on our website! Lizi had a listen to the new self-titled album from As It Is (which is released on Friday!!) It’s the first album written by the band in 8 years but they have not lost their touch and the more raw vibe in the production works really well!
