Summer in full swing! @oregoncountryfair is an incredible place full of love. Such a rejuvenating event. I’m ever so thankful that I got to play two parties there. A silent disco at our camp @lbitents and a banging party at the Rainbow Frolic camp for their Orange Party. That was one for the books! I’m thankful they let me come and share my beats. One of the best things about this trip was spending a whole week with just my wife and exploring Oregon waterfalls. Coming back is a mixed bag though. City life, drama du jour, and politics take their toll on all of our mental landscape. Coming back from generally being quiet and gentle really puts into perspective how toxic our world is and can be. And how often toxic my actions and words can be as well. I’m not immune and I definitely ain’t no saint. But for a time I want to put down my sword. I don’t want to play war games and foster tension. I’d much rather play music and create community whenever possible. Happy summer y’all. Please find time to relax and recharge. The fight is ever present and we are more effective when we rest. From an empty corner to one filled with laughter, memories, and moments worth printing 🫶🏻. @oregonfoodbank’s Bloom was one of those events where moments bloomed (pun intended 🤭). In the end we sent home over 200 prints! Not only does a photo booth transform a stale corner into the heart of the party, but it also makes sure memories are remembered, printed, and shared.
