Human connection is the entire point.

We need people. We need community. And I’ve always believed that the idea of doing life alone is… honestly, a very nonsensical concept.

In 2024, I walked away from a well paying job because I knew there was more for me. I wanted more meaning. More alignment. More truth.

But what I didn’t expect was the loneliness that came with that decision.

And this part is important.
Because I wasn’t alone.

I have the most amazing friends. I’ve always been a people person. But I was in a season of transition, and I needed people who understood that exact phase. People who were also figuring things out. People who could sit in the uncertainty with me without trying to rush clarity🥲.

I needed to not feel alone in what I was becoming.

I couldn’t find that space.

So I decided to build it.

That was how @thethrivingcircle__ started.

Our very first TTC Connect (Lagos edition) happened on my “borrowed” birthday. I’m a leap year baby (Feb 29th😌), so on years like this, I celebrate on February 28th 😅.

What started as a need has become a safe space, even for me.

There are days I sit in connection hours and I’m like… this conversation is for me.

I’ve watched people find clarity. I’ve seen healing happen in real time. People have gotten dream jobs, discovered opportunities, and built real friendships, all because they chose to be in a room where they are seen and truly understood🤎.

And this is something I’ve come to learn deeply

Sometimes we disguise loneliness as focus.

But isolation will quietly cost you the very life you’re trying to build.

Community will stretch you. It will hold you. It will remind you that you’re not alone in your becoming🤎.

Community changed my life.
It changed my businesses.
It made my life fuller.

If you’re in a season where you’re figuring things out and you need people to do life with, @thethrivingcircle__ is home for you 🫂🤎.
