The outpouring of love is palpable! She was so incredibly adored. Making this video is the first time I’m just smiling and not crying. She really is the best of the absolute BEST! You are so loved beyond measure. Keep dancing and smiling my friend. Miss you 💔🦋

Today we sent my young, beautiful, optimistic, funny, and caring cousin Sarah to heaven. I held her until her last moment.

There are no words to describe the pain we are in. We watched her fight like hell for years but ultimately, cancer won. 45 years young and this cancer monster took her from us.

I’m angry, devastated, confused, and heartbroken. Our time with her was robbed and I can’t imagine coming home to Arizona and not hearing her laugh. However, I am so grateful to have had such a sweet cousin for this many years. I am cherishing the last time I saw her well-by my side, at my wedding…. Laughing, singing, and dancing.

If you knew Sarah at all- you knew how she made every experience better, sillier, and just brighter. She cherished family/friends and loved a theme. She was an amazing mother- even through her hardest and sickest of days.

Our lives will never be the same. We promise to look out for her 9yr old daughter Gwen and her amazing husband Jiame. As a family- we are so happy she’s not in pain. Finally. But my God will we miss her. Every. Single. Day.

Please keep us in your prayers and send us strength.
