Im blessed to have never been lonely at christmas with or without a "mate" I've tried hard to weigh the presence of my family and other loved ones equally as that of a "lover" That was the first piece of advice that I got from one of the first therapist I needed while pregnant with my first child. The way I just wanted to be held, seen, heard, needed, and understood Was exactly what was happening from everyone around me Circumstances aren't always perfect but we have the ability to control how we react Now, @carmenlaren released a cover that @qwncity did last year and it's available on you preferred streaming platform. and before the night ends I want to encourage you to stream "What dot he lonely do" by @carmenlaren and @qwncity ....I think it offers a great ambient energy to your night time journaling - as you prepare for the new year think about the things you love, you like and the things you can absolutely do without and move accordingly. I grew up leading christmas carols at home. Harmonies would build around my voice from my father, brothers, mom and grandma.... When it was my turn to add harmonies - I was always stealing somebody's note or hopping from part to part so they would give me the melody and proceed to correct the blend. 😂, I'm still learning and perfecting harmonies while seeing my place in BGVs.
