Not all 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 comes from fear.

Sometimes it comes from 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘁.

We tend to assume anxiety means something is wrong.

That we need to fix it.
Manage it.
Push through it.

Get back to who we were before.

But what if anxiety is sometimes the emotional experience of 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲?

What if it emerges when the roles, beliefs, and ways of being that once organized our lives can no longer carry us forward?

I see this in people navigating:
Illness.
𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘀.
𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘁.
𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗲.

The beginning of a new chapter they never expected to write.

There is often a period where the 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀, but the 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱.

It is uncomfortable.
Disorienting.
And 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 interpreted as failure.

But perhaps it is neither failure nor dysfunction.

Perhaps it is evidence that something within us is reorganizing.

That life is asking us to become someone different than the person we needed to be before.

Not every experience of anxiety is a call to return to safety.

Sometimes it is an invitation to grow beyond the identity that safety required.

The question is not always:

"𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘐 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺?"

Sometimes the deeper question is:
"𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗺 𝗜 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻?"

What are your thoughts?

The top 100 is a different neighborhood, and A-Town Dre just moved in!💪🏾The top 100 is unlocked, the pipeline is full, the adds are coming, and the chart has nowhere to go but up. A-Town Dre didn’t just make a move this week — I made a statement. And radio is listening!!🔥
