Somewhere between the copious amounts of pizza, pasta, wine and limoncello spritz, a couple of weeks ago I turned 30! 👵🏼🌺🍋

Funny how everyone tells you it’s a milestone you’re supposed to dread, but truly I feel stronger than ever — mentally, physically and emotionally. Growing older, but somehow feeling lighter.

Anyway, a slightly overdue Italy photo dump to go with this wall of text (I’ve been told long captions aren’t cool). Grateful for another year, another trip, and everyone in it who made it so special ❤️

Our first virtual knit-a-long was the best! We learned the fundamentals of knitting without relying on a pattern, and each person knit or crocheted their own unique dress. Here are some of the incredible pieces everyone made!

We had people join from Portugal, Bulgaria, England, Germany, and all across the US. It was truly heartwarming to connect with people from around the globe and collaborate on this project.

I'll be hosting another virtual knit-a-long in September if you want to join! Details coming soon🫶🏼

I will crawl my way into the sea

Naked to the bone, washing every lie in me

It will heal me, heal me

Tonight it will heal me

It will heal me

I will throw my head into the fire

Where madness and desire overthrow my vital power

It will burn me, burn me

Tonight it will burn me

I will collapse in great despair

Since no prayer has been answered and there’s absence everywhere

Let me breathe, let me breathe

Into life, let me breathe

Let me be as I am

Just this time, let me be🌹🫶🏼✨

Another year older, none the wiser.

Thankful for the best weekend full of sunshine, sights, pizza & pasta galore - though we definitely wined more than we dined - and last but not least a lot of very special people who cared way more about my birthday than I did (enough to be tricked into a weekend getaway with me so I could see y’all AND IT WORKED). The main character treatment was surreal and the existential dread has subsided only thanks to you all.

Grazie mille amori miei per tutto ❤️ Won’t be long til next time 🍷
