"Be where you are". My coach Jaime would say, lets sharpen our skills, every training day after training day, throughout the whole year. The results speak for themselves.
Today LBT was fully present in the moment we are living and that focus got us 1st place! Thank you coach Jaime and our captains Cass and Karen and all my teammates that were present for this amazing day!

The last Sunday practice before the Regatta with the Colorado Dragon Boat community followed by boat cleaning and moving🦖 So nice to see everyone before the last local race. Shout to our coach @phil_salvador for organizing this event to bring us together

Almost a year ago I joined a dragon boat team that pushed my limits. It was hard work, it was training even if I was tired.

On the back of our jersey it say.."BE WHERE YOU ARE "
I interpreted as..."BE FULLY PRESENT IN THE MOMENT YOU'RE LIVING NOW"

Believe me when I say that coach Jaime trains us, sharpens us mentally and physically for us to be the best version of ourselves.

We have one more race to go at Riverdale.
So LBT, letzzzgooooo!!!!🔥💪🔥💪🔥

Excellent job to all of the teams that competed, and thank you to the volunteers, organizers, friends, and families who made the weekend possible.

Until the next race…PADDLES UP!!! 🛶 🚔🐉

Boats are back on Sloans Lake!! Great to be in community with different teams today from inspecting, cleaning, refurbishing, and sorting equipment, to transporting and unloading boats, to being out on the water together! 🐲

The season is so here!! 🙌
