What do you prefer when it comes to overt war belts? Two piece, over belt or a simple belt with a holster and a pouch or two? Each have there positives and negatives. I ran the VTAC over belt for a few years(don’t know what it’s called) and then transitioned to just a belt with holster and pouches. Finally, I transitioned to the two piece inner-outer belt.

Some early GWOT throwback for your Sunday afternoon viewing pleasure.

-Eagle Industries RRV with mag and grenade pouches
-Eagle Industries War Belt with matching pistol & rifle mag pouches, butt pack, and M9 holster
-LBT 2595B 5 day jumpable pack
-M4 with PEQ-2A, Surefire M951, TA31F ACOG on A.R.M.S. QD mount, KAC M4 RAS rail, Grip-pod, and VTAC sling
-Beretta M9
And some DCU’s to match. 2001-2010 GWOT gear might be the peak of cool.

*Yes, it’s a 16” carbine not a 14.5. Get over it.

Stage 1 from @oedefense biathon - 5 miles, 5 stages in the granite hills of Llano Texas. Water crossing starts the adventure off right, with wet feet. A good warm up stage for an event full of snakes, water, hills and never ending loose rocks. #getfitordie

Another fun day with the boy at @gunmantuddenham

I went with a more streetwear inspired load out today which seemed go down well, along with the frogskin facemask and sling from @dmfacepro

This is a master sewing sample from London Bridge Trading of their 1482C "Pouch, Waist, Shoulder Sling, Magazine (4/MP5-1)." It is very similar to the Eagle Industries MP-9/4 bandoleer which I've shown off previously, with the addition of a metal grommet for drainage on each magazine pocket and the removal of the ALICE webbing on the back of the bandoleer. I strongly suspect that someone took the Eagle bandoleer to LBT, said "I want one, but add drainage holes," and this was the result. London Bridge Trading and Eagle Industries both sewed up prototypes or first article master sewing samples in whatever spare fabric was available (since they weren't going out to a customer and were reserved for reference on construction and design). While it's fun to imagine an emergency services department running around with MP5s on house calls, the more boring reality is that these were probably sewn up in black and woodland camo.

Given the part number you'd think that the other 1482 variants were also types of bandoleers, but interestingly enough the LBT-1482A and -1482D are both belt-mounted magazine pouches, without any option for shoulder straps or waist belts... The -1482B is the only other bandoleer (for three M14 magazines). The seemingly random LBT numbering convention strikes again...

Thank you to John for the opportunity to grab this, I appreciate it. It's a fantastic addition to the collection. I've reached out to LBT to see if they can tell me when the bandoleer was in production since it doesn't appear in any of my LBT references, if they follow up with me I'll update this post.
