Enter: My 40th Extrava-GRAHAM-Za Birthday Weekend

Thank you to everyone who entertained this entire 3-day affair! It was extra AF, which is exactly what I wanted it to be 😂

This weekend was so special it’s literally taken me over a month to soak it in and revel in all of the special moments:

My brother, @barrelproof, and my sister-in-law, @mskasanova, flew in from KY and surprised me! I cried my face off (video proof not included in this post because, ya know 😭)

@bewhitched44 and her hubby, Mike, flew in from the east coast to celebrate with me and the weekend literally would not have been the same without them! Case in point: we literally have over 100 sticks of chapsticks, some of which are still hidden around our apartment, and we keep finding them over a month later lololol 💕

@missbetsyann and @lbw4dmb drove down from Santa Barbara! Y’all remind me how essential chosen family is 🤗

@jenniemwright at @cohostsupperclub catered the most delicious food and Hugo Spritzes during our sunset boat cruise. Friend, you kept us, our plates, & cups full - thank you for sharing your gift with us 😎🥂

flower_cat_jess made the most epic GF + DF rainbow disco birthday cake! I can’t even explain how beautiful and how effing DELICIOUS it was! Even the people who can eat whatever the fvck were going in! Thank you, Jess, for blessing me with, hands down, the best birthday cake!

@hermankc3 finagled so many behind-the-scenes surprises it was insane - including surprising me with my very own electric scooter! 🛴 Thank you for the most amazing 5 years together, babe 🥰

My birthday twins @chevonnericci and @hayljo FaceTime’d right at midnight to sing, talk $hit, and set our intentions for the next decade. 9/13 babies foreva-eva!🤘

—> My advice is to always make your birthday a celebration of you + all the amazing people in your tribe. After all, they are the ones that make these milestone moments so memorable.

I love all y’all so much. Thank you for wrapping up one decade and beginning the next one with me in the most EXTRA of ways. That sh!t was special AF.

TRUTH: Three years ago, I was not tapped into this frequency of celebration. Times were hard and cash flow was limited AF after my 15+ year dance career was pulled out from under me overnight.

Years of investing in professional training, cultivating relationships, and working at the top of the entertainment industry came crumbling down and a number of my core friendships withered away with it.

I was down big time and TBH my mindset was far from, “I have so much to be thankful for” while I was chilling in the gutter.

The truth, though?

I DID have so much to celebrate:

🎉 I was free from the most toxic work dynamic I’ve ever been in
🎉 I had a partner to lean on every time the clouds got dark
🎉 I made new friends who consistently reflected back my value as a friend
🎉 I had legit mentors who showed me how all the things that make me feel “different” were actually my magic sauce
🎉 And, my favorite: I had Drunk Astrology! My “side thing” that started out as a creative outlet but, slowly but surely, was evolving into a full-fledged business

And when I started focusing on all of THESE things that were already AMAZING?

That’s when I started getting even more things to celebrate:

🥳 clients signing up for my 1:1 coaching journeys the day I announced them
🥳 client testimonials rolling into my inbox without me even asking for them (and this KEEPS happening)
🥳 surprise birthday trips from my boyfriend
🥳 selling out the first ever Raise Your Vibe retreat

Here’s what I want you to know:

The more you focus on what’s missing, what’s not working, or what’s not enough…the more you’ll receive things that don’t work.

The more you’re celebrating what’s already here, what’s already working, and what’s already THRIVING, though?

The more delicious juice you’ll receive over and over and over. Celebrate accordingly! 🎉

🥂 THANK YOU to every single one of you who made my 40th birthday the most unforgettable event ever. This slide doesn’t even begin to cover it all, but it’s a good start. Cheers to the next epic decade!

Special Thursday, Nov. 26th, Donation Based Event to the Wishtoyo Chumash Foundation at 10am to 11:30am at the Santa Barbara Mission Rose Garden, the traditional territory of ‎the Chumash people.

This special event will start out with a breathing exercise, a Kundalini Yoga warm-up, followed by a 30 to 45 minute Gong Yoga Nidra session.

What is Yoga Nidra? It is Sleeping Yoga. Using verbal and instrumental sound waves to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system to support self healing throughout the body.
