The Vauxhall Lotus Carlton - a stunning and intriguing car with a special history ✨

It's nothing short of legendary: a 1990s super-saloon that combined both family-car practicality and a twin-turbocharged, 377-horsepower straight-six capable of reaching 177 mph 🔥

The car's baffling performance sparked media attention in the UK and was even discussed in Parliament over whether a vehicle that fast should be legal for everyday drivers.

Thankfully, this car has fallen into good hands and is taken very good care of by @lc810g 🙌

It's always a pleasure to see the car, and of course the good people that own it, too 🙏

If you attend car events / shows regularly, such as the Port Solent Car Meet, or the Southsea Car Cruise etc, then keep a special eye out for this stunning and unique car 😍

I had such an amazing time last night in Portsmouth for the Southsea Car Cruise, and despite it being a lot darker than the previous months, I still managed to get some decent photos that I'm really happy with 🙌

I also had the opportunity to meet some new people and speak to people I recognise from the cruise but haven't yet spoken to or met in person. It's one of my favourite things about the car community, meeting new people (the cars being my second favourite 🤭) and it's always so nice to see familiar faces / cars as well 🙏

The last cruise is on October the 18th and sets off at 5pm ✨

See you there? 😍

A huge thank you to everybody who came out and showed up for our second to last Classic Car Sunday of the year 🙌

We saw a whopping 250 cars show up, and the turn out was absolutely phenomenal ✨

The next (and last) Classic Car Sunday of this year is on Sunday the 4th of October!! So pop this date in your diary as this is not one you will want to miss 👌

Lastly, a big thank you to our marshals and event organisers for keeping these meets safe and respectful, and we appreciate everybody else who attends and does the same 👏

We can't wait to welcome everyone back for the last Classic Car Sunday of the year next month, and look forward to seeing you all there 🎉

Bit of a late post from me with the photos from Sunday's Port Solent Car Meet!!

From what I remember the weather was either sunny or slightly drizzly, but the cars that showed, as usual, were stunning 🙌

We saw a DeLorean, Lamborghini, Mustangs, GTR's, Classic Cars, Bikes - everything 🔥

Personally I thought the Japanese section really shone - with the Datson, Lexus', and Nissan's showing up, it really was a favourite of mine ❤️

As always a huge thank you to the marshalls and event organisers who make these wonderful meets possible, and thank you to everyone who bought a show car along despite the sudden weather changes 🌦️

Coming up next we have Classic Car Sunday in Bordon this coming Sunday!! So why not join us there?

Here's the info:
📍The Country Market, Bordon, GU35 0QP

Given the huge selection of cars that attended the Southsea Car Cruise last Sunday, I thought it was only fitting that I posted some more pics ✨

As I mentioned in my previous post, the Southsea Car Cruise featured over 50 cars this time around, and my goodness were they stunning 😍 I'm so amazed out how these photos turned out, and if you want to view the full gallery, you can do so here:

I'd love to know which car / photo is your favourite 🙏

Sunday's Southsea Car Cruise had an incredible turnout with an estimated 50+ cars showing up to cruise around Portsmouth & Southsea 😍

The amazing Solent Renegades Car Cruise always has some truly special cars, and this one was no different!! From Cadillacs, to Chevy's, to Mustangs, and this time around, a special appearance from the iconic time traveling car: the DeLorean ✨

It was a spectacular evening, and it was brilliant to see so many stunning cars, and even meet new people before and after the cruise 🙌

These really are such special gatherings, and I can't wait to attend the next one 🙏

It took me a little bit longer than usual as it's been a busy couple of days, but here are some pics from Sunday's Port Solent Car Meet!! 🎉

The weather couldn't exactly make up its mind when choosing between blue skies and sun or strong winds and grey skies (even a little bit of rain 🌧️) however the good vibes didn't shift one bit 🙌

The incredible display of cars was astonishing as always, and it was amazing to see some new unique cars show up as well (and not to mention all the doggos who popped along too!!) 🐕

It was another phenomenal day as always, and a huge thank you to the event organisers and marshals that make these meets possible, and most importantly safe 🦺🙏

(See yourself / your car, or know the owner? Tag away!!)

Here are some of the shots that I got at the Southsea Car Cruise on Sunday evening 🙌

Some people may have noticed I popped up in a couple of different locations during the cruise to get a variety of angles, and I also enjoyed getting some photos in the car park before and after, and it was so lovely to meet some new people and see all the stunning cars that showed 😍

I always love going to the Car Cruises, and golden hour is my favourite time of day to photograph, especially the classic cars that have gorgeous, intricate, and shiny details to pick up on and admire ✨

(If you see yourself or your car / know the owner, feel free to tag them!!)

Tomorrow is the next Port Solent Car Meet 🔥

The next meet in Port Solent is tomorrow (April 26th, 9am-Midday) and here are some shots from the last meet to give you a small snapshot insight into the phenomenal cars that show up 🙌

Lamborghinis, Mustangs, Porches, trucks, Motorbikes, Aston Martins, Caterhams - there is simply too much to compile into a list, but only by way of attendance can you truly understand just how vast the collection of vehicles that show are. Oh, and the people!! The people are amazing: marshalls, drivers, attendees - besides the cars, the people are what make these events what they are.

If you are the proud owner of a vehicle and would like to display it at our meet, check the criteria below to make sure it meets the requirements as to vehicles we allow:

• All Hot Rods

• All Classic Vehicles (pre-2000, V-reg or earlier)

• All Supercars

• All American & Australian vehicles

• All Porsches

• All Motorbikes & Scooters

• All Electric Vehicles

• 400+ BHP vehicles

• Kit Cars

• All Emergency Vehicles

• M-Powered BMWs, AMG Mercedes & RS Audis

• Tractors, Classic Industrial & Military Vehicles

(Unsure if yours fits these requirements? Email: portsolentcarmeet@outlook.com for further details)

With all that being said, if, by chance, you have a vehicle that does meet the requirements to show off your car at the Port Solent Car Meet, why not bring it along?

See you there? 🌤☀️
