A great season and an incredible chapter came to an end at Provincials this weekend.

First, I want to give a massive thank you to all of my coaches @_coachlc @jcaughers and @coachjam77 for their time, guidance, and constant belief in me. I also want to express my gratitude to the Newmarket Baseball Association @newmarketbaseballassociation . Thank you for an amazing 5 years and for giving me the platform and support to develop into the player and person I am today.

To my teammates and the lifelong friends I’ve made along this journey with the Hawks: thank you for every battle, every memory, and every laugh. Playing alongside you guys has been an absolute privilege, and those bonds will last way beyond the field.

While it’s tough to say goodbye to Newmarket, I’m extremely grateful and excited for the next chapter in my baseball journey joining the Toronto Mets @torontomets 14U Minor program for the summer of 2027.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the ride so far. Time to get back to work.

That’s a wrap!

What a season — 68 games, 5 championships, and so many laughs and memories.

It wouldn’t have been the same without my squad by my side. You guys are the best teammates anyone could ask for.

Huge thanks to all of my coaches — Lawrence, CoJo, Eric, Prime Dale, and Lucas. You made this one of the best seasons yet. I’ve learned so much and had an awesome time doing it.

Already counting down to the next one!

Just took on the USC Ice Bucket Challenge — and WOW it was cold! But I did it to help raise awareness for something super important: youth mental health.

Being young, I know how tough things can get sometimes, whether it’s school, friendships, or just big feelings. It’s okay to not be okay, and it’s so important to talk about it and support each other.

Let’s keep the convo going and make sure no one feels alone. Mental health matters — no matter your age.

Go to @uscmind to see how you can get involved and donate to a great cause!

🏆⚾ A huge thank you to the Township of Uxbridge Council for recognizing the hard work and dedication our team has shown this season! Your support has meant the world to us.

After putting in countless hours on and off the field, our team not only took 1st place in eastern Ontario but also went on to win the OBAs! 🥇🎉

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering commitment of each player, coach, and family involved. Here’s to teamwork, perseverance, and the incredible Uxbridge community! 💪🙌

In a thrilling conclusion to the provincial championship, the Uxbridge Grizzlies clinched gold with an extra-inning walk-off victory against the Brantford Red Sox. The Grizzlies showcased their resilience and skill in a nail-biting finale.

Starting pitcher Nesta set the tone with a dominant performance, delivering high-speed pitches and keeping the Red Sox at bay. Ethan took over with a solid relief effort, and Travis closed out the game with the final out, solidifying the win.

Offensively, Jack, Garnet, Chase, Travis, and Adam all contributed crucial runs, while key defensive plays from Liam and Evan were instrumental in preventing Brantford from scoring.

The game reached a dramatic climax after a controversial play at home ended the bottom of the 7th inning, forcing extra innings. The Grizzlies’ defense was stellar, retiring the Red Sox 3 up, 3 down in the top of the 8th, setting the stage for a dramatic finish.

In the bottom of the 8th, with Chase starting on second base, Bowen executed a perfect sacrifice bunt to move Chase to third, then reached first safely. With runners on the corners and tensions soaring, Liam was intentionally walked to load the bases.

Travis stepped up to the plate and, after a 1-0 count, connected with a pitch for a single down the first base line, bringing Chase home and securing a walk-off win for the Grizzlies.

The crowd erupted as the Grizzlies celebrated their hard-fought victory. This championship win is a testament to the team’s perseverance and talent.

Congratulations to the Uxbridge Grizzlies on an unforgettable season and a well-deserved provincial title!

Thank you to my teammates for being the absolute best! Who’s in the house? The Grizzlies in the house!

A big thanks to my Grizzlies coaches, @jcaughers , @ron.rolfe , @jkeeping , @_lchunter for all your support, encouragement, and for helping us become the best athletes we could be.

Also, thank you to @coach_lvera , @eddiemckiernan, and the @_juniortitans organization for preparing me for the season with your guidance and dedication.

Lastly, thanks Mom and Dad for giving me the chance to play the sport I love.

Let’s go Grizzlies Nation!!!!

Awesome weekend of baseball at the Don McKnight Silver Bat baseball tournament in Newmarket. It was great to see, cheer on and compete against players and coaches from other organizations that I am proud to call my friends. Thankful for being part of a great squad and for the opportunity to compete in another championship game. #rollgrizz

Despite trailing by as many as four runs the Grizzlies rallied back to best Pickering Red Sox T2on Tuesday night. Garnet and Ethan banged in a combined 6 RBIs to help the Grizz come out on top!
