Stop warming up the wrong way before practice.
Static stretching and dynamic stretching aren’t the same, and when you do them matters.
Before practice, your goal should be to:
• Raise your body temperature
• Prepare your muscles for explosive movements
• Activate your nervous system
• Improve your range of motion
• Get your body ready to sprint, cut, jump, and compete
Dynamic stretching helps prepare your body for movement, while prolonged static stretching is generally better suited for after training or when you’re specifically working on flexibility.
Don’t just stretch because you think you have
Warm up with movements that actually prepare you for what you’re about to do on the field.

BIG MOVES IN THE CITY! 🏙️🐅

Massive congratulations to Coach Galen Mack on officially taking over as the Offensive Line Coach for the Lincoln College Prep Tigers!

Dominant football starts in the trenches, and the Tigers’ frontline is in great hands this season. Coach Mack and the Trench Mob begin their 2026 campaign tomorrow night against UACK at 7:00 PM.

Time to get to work! 😤💪🏾
