We put some of our football players to the test with a few cheer & dance moves… and let’s just say, things got interesting!

Some Friday nights are about more than football. 💙🏈

A student section that brought ALL the energy. Cheerleaders who never stopped. A rain delay that somehow turned into one of the sweetest parts of the night as we laughed and connected with the visiting team. And then…a BIG win to finish it off.

The kind of night that reminds you how special it is to be part of something bigger than yourself.

Friday nights at Liberty. 🤍💙

I’m still new to this coaching thing, but I’m already learning that this might be my favorite part. 💙

The final seconds of a nail-biter. Arms around each other. Waiting together. Hoping together. And then…pure JOY. Jumping, hugging, celebrating together when that field goal went in.

Of course we want to do things with excellence. We practice and prepare and work on all the things that happen on the sidelines.

But I think I’m quickly realizing that some of the best parts of coaching have very little to do with cheer.

It’s watching girls become teammates.
Watching them show up for each other.
Watching them celebrate together.
Watching them realize they’re part of something bigger than themselves.

I have a whole lot to learn about coaching, but I already know I want to help build more moments like this. 🤍
