and so our journey comes to an end!✨🐭

two years have i worked with this company, and never took a picture at the iconic cast door- so only fitting to do so when im on my way out, I suppose!

as of saturday, 9/9/23, i am now a ✨former✨ disney cm! this decision has been one of the most bittersweet decisions ive had to make in my life thus far, having to leave a job ive never stopped enjoying. since may of this year, ive been working as a full-time social media activation coordinator, working on nbcuniversal theatrical releases. i feel so blessed to be both working within my career field, and with an amazing team doing really cool stuff. this being said, it was an incredibly tough decision to now ultimately have to hang up my cast member name tag, in favor of a break here and there.

having worked in both walt disney world and disneyland over the past two years has been such a joy and a pleasure, from my disney college program, to a brief stint in new orleans square/critter country merch, to my favoritest job as a “blueberry” in entertainment costuming. i feel so blessed to have worked with the people ive met along the way. i feel so lucky to have experienced amazing milestones with the walt disney company, from wdw’s 50th anniversary, to disney 100, and even the re-opening (and re-closing 🤪) of fantasmic. i feel even luckier to have collected people I can call some of my goodest friends on my way out.

according to peter pan, “growing up is barbarious business,” but I am so excited to see what the future has in store for me as i enter this era in my professional life and goals.
