Was I given a little ghost candle this weekend that fits perfectly inside our ghost candle cover? Why yes, yes indeed! Isn’t it a cute little Grogu of a spirit? 👻 @lcw.allingham @rivertheauthor @1181chris

I took very few pictures yesterday, but I had an amazing time at the first ever Vampire’s Library Horror book Fair @vampamuseum organized by @lcw.allingham (she did an amazing job!) The Nor’easter seemed to drive people to the museum rather than away. Met some awesome authors for the first time, including my table partner @a.c.wise, and see some familiar faces like @amandaheadlee. I’ve got two more events this year, including the always awesome @chocolatetownbookfest at the Hershey Public Library next week! Come say hi! #doylestown #bookfair

It was a full house last night during the book launch for Michael Pogach’s newest book, Valhalla Burning. Michael led the event with trivia and prizes, then discussed his journey as an author and how Valhalla Burning, which is described as a book for fans of The Witcher and the novels of Joe Abercrombie and John Gwynne, came to be. A big thank you to Michael for working with us on this event and his family, friends, fans who made it a night he won’t soon forget. We now have signed copies of Michael’s book in-store and online.

StokerCon = Great times involving wonderful people and tasty horror books (video evidence attached)! I’m grateful for every conversation we shared, every bit of knowledge exchanged, the relationships deepened. I’m excited for all of you. I’m hopeful for @sobelobooks . I’m inspired by my peers. And I’m proud of this year’s award nominees and winners (I see you @rjacksonjoseph ). My hope is that I’ll see each of you again next year and that you’ll be another book deeper into your catalogue, another year into a rewarding career, another step toward achieving your dreams in this wild, ravenous world. Big hugs horror fam. #horrorcommunity #stokercon2026

Finally back home from @stokercon_official and I got say, this might have been the best year yet! Had a blast reconnecting with old friends, and making fantastic new ones. Did I mostly scramble around on the last day trying to get pictures with people because I’m never proactive about documenting things? Yes. Of course I did. And I didn’t catch everyone, unfortunately. But I seriously had the best time being amongst my people. Already got my tickets for next year, and I can’t wait. Now, however, post-con coma time. Matthew the Cat tax at the end!
