🏁 CLOSE RACING 👊 ***A long video but shows the type of racing we had all day. @townsvillekartclub Round 4 I wasn’t feeling the best after being sick all week but I still wanted to race. I’m glad I did because this turned out to be one of the best days racing. Heaps of fun close racing, lots of passes and changes for the lead all day. Random Grid 🔁 Heat 1 - P2 Heat 2 - P3 Heat 3 - P3 Final - P2 🥈🏆 Thanks to @qpr_18 @bojangles.91 @lukedownes4 for awesome racing all day 💪 @cxr_racing_engines for the HP and ongoing support. ✨ AWESOME WEEKEND 💯 Last week we went to Townsville and had a long weekend of karting. We were lucky to have Craig from @cxr_racing_engines come up to support the NQ team. Friday kicked off with driver training for a few of us followed by 2 days of racing and testing for the team ahead of the Townsville AKC round. During practice we were on the slow side however with a new tyre, qualifying went well. After this we made quite a few changes through the heats and final, gathering data and working out what worked and what didn’t work. Qualy - P1 🟣 Heat 1 - P1 > P2 Heat 2 - DNF after a mistake through turn 1 Heat 3 - P3 > P2 🟣 Heat 4 - P2 > P2 🟣 Final - P2 > P2 Well done to my team mates @qpr_18 and @mcracing33 on their wins and thank you to everyone that helped celebrate my birthday Overall CXR secured 4 Pole Positions 🟣🟣🟣🟣 6 Podiums 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 2 wins 🥇🥇 Always grateful to my sponsors @tyrepowercairns @benchmarkrecairns @laurenunlimited @dragons_creationsx3 @brock_czislowski torque_karting @breakthroughgroup_cairns

☀️ TOWNSVILLE RD 3 🥉 Images credit @natedoggphotography Last weekend the whole family travelled to Round 3 of the Townsville Club Champs. Again, another good weekend learning and improving, though a little more challenging. We had the pace but we struggled to get the kart feeling good on track. Qualy - P2 Heat 1 - P2 > P2 Heat 2 - P2 > P3 Heat 3 - P2 > P3 Heat 4 - P3 > P3 Final - P3 > DNF All points for this meeting counted towards the final result. I was fortunate enough to secure 3rd 🥉 place by 2 points even with the DNF in the final. Thank you to @townsvillekartclub and volunteers for hosting the day. @cxr_racing_engines for the engine and ongoing training and support. As always this would not be possible without my awesome sponsors. @benchmarkrecairns @tyrepowercairns @brock_czislowski @laurenunlimited @dragons_creationsx3 @breakthroughgroup_cairns
