Sometimes a mountain flying lesson doesn’t end when the rotors stop. 🏔️🚁

We turned this MOU(H) training day into an overnight stay in the mountains — pitching the tents, cooking dinner with a view, watching the sun disappear behind the peaks and waking up to one of those sunrises you don’t forget anytime soon.

And somewhere in between: flying, learning, planning, discussing conditions and gaining experience in the environment mountain flying is really about.

That’s one of the things I love about doing mountain training here in Switzerland. Every flight brings different terrain, altitudes, winds and decisions — and every now and then, a training day turns into an experience like this.

Good flying, good company and probably one of the better classrooms you could ask for.

Thanks for the adventure, boys. 🤝🏔️
