Wrapped up the Boiler Bash 300 this weekend! This was such an amazing tournament, and it was so great to see IU 1 and IU 2 in the semifinals, with IU 1 taking home the gold! IU also had two pairings place in men’s doubles AND two pairings winning the tiny paddle tournament! Thank you to @boilerpickleball for hosting this event and @joolapickleball for dressing our teams!! 🥒🥒

This is what “let’s just play singles for fun” turns into

Simplest hands drill in the book: one partner feeds a dink that sits up just a little, the other player speeds it up, and play until someone wins the point.

This drill works quick reactions, active feet, and lateral movement at the kitchen line so you’re ready for the next ball instead of watching your shot.

Save this and try it next time you train.

Speed of the game is only getting faster.

Is standing in the midcourt and crushing it back and forth the best idea in a game? Probably not😂.

But it’s a fun way to train your hands, reactions, and absorb pace without panicking.

Focus points:
- Stay low with knees bent
- Keep your paddle out in front
- Rip it

Don’t swing too big, keep it compact and clean

New favorite kitchen line drill. Protect your pyramid and try to knock theirs down. I clearly didn’t do a very good job at that today😭
