From robotics programs to creative arts to literacy support to making learning more accessible for our special needs students, the innovative educator grants we awarded today to these dedicated teachers and staff members are nothing short of inspiring.

Supporting educators to support students is our why. But we don’t do it alone. We couldn’t have provided over $30,000 in grant funding without our community. Every raffle ticket bought, every business donation or event sponsored, every Race For Education registration and every individual donation- each one of these contributions from our generous community adds up and helps us achieve our mission to provide the best education to our young people.

Thank you teachers, thank you community! Let’s make it an even better year ahead 🤗🍏📚🚌📓

First, Thank you @ldesphy6 & @onwurd for having me be part of your activation. It was awesome to see the younger generation join us more “seasoned” folk in learning more about why WURD Radio is so important in our everyday lives and their commitment to impact beyond the airwaves. We had a blast at the 2026 Penn Relays. The photobooth NEVER stopped and who knew Connect Four the game of the year😱😂☺️ Until next time.
Special thx to @rencinema and @pixsbytina for helping out. We made a difference.

Can’t wait to see you this Tuesday November 11th from 5-8 pm for Fall Shopping & Dining Night!

Meet participating local business, @the.dovetail.glenside in its beautiful new space on Mount Carmel Avenue, in between Easton Road and Keswick Avenue.

Owner Rhiannon Punzo and her handcrafted syrup from her family farm has been a staple at the @glensidefarmersmarket for years. She has an incredible vision for community and bought Glenside’s beloved Dovetail gift shop when it was for sale years ago and relocated it to a space where it could be a community hub. In addition to her gorgeous gift shop featuring unique cards, art and handmade gifts from local artists, the space holds a community gathering spot, a coffee and bread shop, a record store, an art gallery and music venue and a fitness studio. Come check it out while supporting education in Cheltenham! 20% of proceeds at Dovetail this evening will go to CEF!

Plus enjoy performances from Cheltenham High School @touringensemblechs and a Capella groups Sons of Pitch and Up the Octave! 🎤🎵

In preparation for our Fall Shopping & Dining Night on Tuesday November 11th from 5-8 pm, we’re taking you inside participating stores and restaurants!

Today meet @dc.interiors located in Wesley Plaza just off Easton Road in between Glenside Avenue and Waverly in downtown Glenside. Wyncote resident, interior designer, and small business owner Deb Campbell gives back to the community in more ways than one- she chairs Cheltenham’s Economic Development Task Force and is a leader in the Downtown Glenside Foundation, helping draw businesses to Cheltenham, which increases the livability and tax base for our community, all benefitting our schools. Another way she gives back to the community is through events like this! She’s giving 20% of proceeds during shopping night to CEF!

Come visit Deb and get your holiday shopping in gear with gorgeous gifts and design inspiration! Plus she’s located right next door to our featured restaurant, @el_limon_glenside_pa! So you can grab a bite for a great cause while here. Can’t wait to see you!

Hello from the Cheltenham Education Foundation! (CEF) We are a local non profit organization established in 1991. Our mission is to enhance educational experiences for students in @cheltenhamsd We do that by raising funds through donations and events, managed by a volunteer board from our community. We enhance educational experiences by distributing grants to educators to fund innovative educational experiences and by awarding scholarships to graduating seniors to support their ongoing educational goals.

Thanks to increased engagement from our local community through signature events such as our new Race for Education 5K, shopping nights, teacher tributes, teacher and staff payroll donations, and individual donations, we have been able to significantly INCREASE the amount of grants and scholarships we’v’e given over the past several years.

We look forward to getting to know YOU this year and engaging you in our awesome mission to support Cheltenham’s fabulous students!

Come meet us at our first event this year - Fall Shopping and Dining Night in Glenside on Tuesday, November 11th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM where @sweetmagnolia19038 @dc.interiors Gift Stores, @theways_restaurantandbrewery & @cjssweetpalace will be donating a portion of proceeds to CEF! 🍏
