With Birmingham Restaurant Week here, I knew I couldn’t pass up the chance to visit one of Birmingham’s true legends. ❤️

Gus’s Hot Dogs has been serving this community since 1947….that’s nearly 80 years of history. I stopped by the original location and the owner Lee took the time to share the rich story behind this iconic spot. You can feel the history the moment you walk through the door.

Quick jaunt downtown to view this amazing art gallery by friend and extremely talented photog @marycfehr. Mayor @woodfinforbham was there! I didn’t get to meet him but I did learn he’s a @thegushotdogs regular. That makes me jealous of @ldpantazis so, we gotta get him on the Uncle Gs train! So proud of Mary, go check out this great gallery at City Hall!

June was a reminder of how much there is to be grateful for. A month filled with celebrating milestones, from 1 year birthdays to 70 years of life, each one a reflection of the beauty of the journey and the gift of another day.

Half of the year is already gone, and I’m learning to look at the months ahead not as a reset, but as space for opportunity, growth, and continued purpose. Growth isn’t just about what we accomplish, it’s about who we become along the way.

I’m thankful for the people God continues to place in my life, the clients who become family, and the opportunity to witness growth, success, and breakthroughs in so many different areas.

One of the greatest blessings is seeing people step into moments they once only imagined, watching dreams become reality, legacies continue, and new opportunities unfold.

June, thank you for the memories, the lessons, the celebrations, and the reminders that life is truly a gift.📈🤍🙌🏽
