POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Wanted to highlight some of the amazing dogs and handlers who came to train this weekend. It was a weekend filled with teamwork, challenges, frustration, success, and joy. I am so proud of the progress that everyone made. Most importantly I want to thank @_real_deal_dog_training_ for coming out to work with all of us. He is an amazing teacher and friend who truly knows dogs. We are all so grateful to him for helping us and our dogs reach our maximum potential. Until next time👊🏼

Ever wondered what a consultation looks like at LOTP❓❓

This video is not bash, but to mainly bring awareness to pet parents that MOST of you are all dealing with the SAME issues. 🐶

In LOTP consultations I would ask most of the same questions and 8/10 clients have the same responses.

We like the stress the importance of…

• Environmental Socialization
• Using crate training to build confidence, create independence, & help you manage situations
• Stress can make or break your dog
• Why training is necessary

If your dog turns into a completely different dog the second you grab the leash… 😂🐕

Pulling, dragging you down the street, barking at everything, ignoring you when you call their name, you’re not the only one dealing with it.

A lot of dogs don’t need to be “fixed.” They just need some guidance, structure, and someone to show them what we actually expect from them.
That’s where we come in. 🐾

Shoot us a message. Let’s get you both on the same page.

Training isn’t about forcing a dog through distractions. It’s about helping them understand how to succeed around them.

☝🏾One thing we focus on heavily is giving the dog a clear informational guideline during the walk. Instead of letting the environment make all the decisions, we teach the dog how to slow down, stay connected, and understand the job at hand.

Everyone thinks the Cane Corso is just a “natural protector”…. but let’s be real for a second, yes that’s what they were bred for, but nowadays the breed genetics 🧬 are trash 🗑️. Years of poor breeding, chasing size over stability, and ignoring temperament. When genetics aren’t respected, you don’t get a confident protector — you get a dog that’s unsure of the world around it.

Can training help nerves? Only to a certain extent of helping the dog to be managable, but training can NEVER change genetics.

Stay tuned to see how comfortable we can get this big guy “Jaxx” 💪🏾🐕

Nothing beats real world training 🐕

Dogs pulling on leash, getting fixated, ignoring commands in public… that doesn’t get fixed in your living room. It gets fixed out here, in the middle of it
Our group class is controlled, other dogs, people walking by, kids running around and your dog learns how to stay locked 🔒in with you.
