ART for ART

ART FOR ART.

A while back, I saw Lea Ellermeier's work shared by Scooped in Dallas and immediately thought:

I need my furniture photographed with her art.

Her use of color brings me an unreasonable amount of joy, and I could already see her paintings alongside one of my high-gloss pieces—two distinct mediums belonging in the same room.

Then Lea reached out to me about refinishing this carved chest.

As we talked through the project, I proposed an idea: instead of simply refinishing the piece, we could trade art for art.

Lea trusted me with the chest, which we finished in everyone's favorite Orange.

In exchange, two of her paintings came home with me.

The best part is seeing them together now. Her work and the furniture don’t compete or serve as backdrop. They play off each other.

Color. Movement. Detail. Gloss. Joy.

Two artists. Two mediums.

ART FOR ART.

And a little credit to @scoopedindallas for unknowingly starting the whole thing.

There’s nothing better than bringing together orthodontists from across the country who are excited to learn, innovate, and experience @bravabraces firsthand 🦷✨

Our Brava Braces In-Office Course in Dallas, Texas was a huge success! We spent the day diving into the WHY behind Brava—exploring the biomechanics, technology, clinical approach, and what makes Brava Hidden Braces completely different from traditional braces, aligners, and other lingual systems.

And of course, we took it from education to action with a live Brava bonding! 🙌 There’s nothing like seeing the system come to life and experiencing firsthand just how unique and efficient the Brava workflow truly is.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in Dallas and helped make this course such a success! We are so excited to continue educating, innovating, and bringing truly hidden orthodontics to more practices and patients across the country.

Such a fun night getting the @bravabraces team together for dinner and some putt putt time at Puttshack in Texas! ⛳️

Grateful for this group and the energy, camaraderie, and personalities each person brings to the team. Nights like this are a great reminder of how valuable it is to make time to connect beyond the work itself.
