Elliot @leafmehere, you’re responsible for this! Because of YOU I raced to Home Depot and made a pitstop at our favorite DIY craft store Michaels to do a project that you talked me into at 12:30AM this morning. On an IG Live. Hours before I say “I Do”.

Bouquet 💐 Check! Now diving into the shower. Nuptials are scheduled to begin in 45 minutes! The stunts I pull! All due to the company I keep! 😉

These babies got badly burned by the south- facing windows at work when we started remote teaching. Unlike many succulents, they prefer gentle exposure to direct light - and being in a window isn't always great, either. Winter sun is often more welcome than summer sun.

For now, they are rehabbing in my window that's got indirect bright light - the sun is too high in the south-facing sky to hit them any of my windows. However, the flowerstalks are still going strong and I'm hopeful for a few seeds to sprout.

I've also started a fertilizing regimen with aquarium water, which will hopefully encourage new leaves and return some green to the growth.

"The Lord likes small things best, especially those done with Love."
~Mother Teresa
This little Hoya Mathilde was payment of a $10 debt. 2 days later I saw someone online selling a bare cutting with 2 leaves for $128.00!
2 salient points:
1. Pandemic pricing is insane!, &
2. Best tip I ever got.

I hear a hundred different country sounds right now, just sitting on the porch after watering, & not a one of them is noise pollution

What does a peaceful moment in your garden, or on your porch, sound like?
I would love it if everyone who can would post a blissful 60 seconds of enjoying your happy place!

Dahlias are all relatively short stemmed and still quite small, but here’s a small virtual tour of some in bloom.

This is my prized #Bougainvillea!
.
I took this picture about two months ago before I trimmed it down to resemble an umbrella shape.
.
It’s starting to bud again so once it blooms I’ll take new pics for a comparison.
.
@leafmehere was kind enough to give me some tips so fingers crossed that I start getting the umbrella shape I want! Give him a follow for some great tips.

Gardening is hard work but to create art with life on a beautiful day .. priceless
Took out all the rocks, cleaned and spread the weed barrier, planted 15 hastas of different types along both edges
Let’s see what the summer sunshine 🌞 grows
