I was beyond lucky to have attended the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment this past week as a Massachusetts delegate. This summit, held at George Mason University was an amazing experience that has taught me so much on how to care for our environment.
We were able to talk to, network with, and hear from many incredible speakers all working in environmental fields whether it be zoo keeping, caring for public lands, wildlife rehabilitation, sustainable engineering, public outreach, environmental policy or anything else. I am so excited to take what I have learned from them and apply it to how we can help protect ecosystems in both Massachusetts, and the rest of the world.
I met so many incredible people from around the country that I know are going to do great things for the environment one day, and was very grateful to have Jazmin Golden @stay_jazzy23 and Giavanna Vassalluzzo @gia_3025 as my wonderful Faculty and Junior Faculty Advisors. Thank you so much to @wyse_mason for this incredible opportunity.
Go gold group! ✨
