Join us for a night of queer independent cinema at @ventilator_cinema, as part of the new Liberatory Visions event series. The program consists of five short films by queer filmmakers from Palestine and Lebanon, each examining the intersection of gender and sexuality with the ongoing movement for a liberated Palestine.

Our hope is for the series to inspire cross-movement solidarity and collaboration. No one is free until we’re all free; we invite attendees to collectively imagine and contribute to a future where this vision is a reality.

Earlier this year I moved back in with my friend Róisín, who I sometimes refer to as ‘my friend Jordan’s mum’, in Howth. It’s not the first time she’s taken me in and I’m not the first person she’s taken in either, having put a roof over many a head down through the years. One of those was Zaid - a teenager at the time, on exchange from Hebron back in 2009. This year, when he mentioned his desire to enrol on a MA in September, Róisín and her daughters Ella and Molly said they’d help to fundraise — and as the latest lucky stray to enjoy the luxuries of their welcoming nature and communal home I said I’d pull my weight too and put on a gig. Thanks to Tessa for partnering up with me, @leah_downing for the poster and to all the musicians for giving and sharing their time, energy and music.
Tix in bio, all proceeds go towards Zaid’s tuition fees.

We had the pleasure to collaborate with @_no.leftovers. We chose our favorite springtime crudités and transformed their ‘leftovers’ like their leaves into delectable dips and creams.

Think crispy paprika potato skins, wild mushroom pie, pickles and chutneys from rescued market produce💙

It’s almost two years since we worked with @noelbowler to launch his @kickstarter campaign to help publish Above The Fold, and we’re delighted to see it starting to arrive at doorsteps around the world.

Above The Fold is our second publication with our long-time friend and collaborator @Noelbowler—Noel’s series of photographs documents newspaper newsrooms worldwide over a six-year period.

Shoutout to 💅@leah_downing, who we miss every day in the studio! And of course, @dyehouse_films, who crush everything they do!
