✨💖✈️I’m not even sure where to begin, so I’ll begin at the beginning. I was the first person hired on How to Die Alone, September 2022 as @verasantamaria’s Showrunner’s Assistant.

It was very special and a definitive moment in my career. I think most people have their ideas of what a showrunner does, but if there’s one thing I’ve witnessed first hand because of Vera and @natasharothwell, it’s how much showrunners hold a world in their hearts and their hands. They have to see the show before anyone else can see it, and finding collaborators that can hold that delicate vision with them is critical.

It was really beautiful to see How to Die Alone come together on every level, from the writers, producers, directors, casting, the cast, cinematographers, production design, wardrobe, editors, post production, music/composing, documentary shoot, and the tireless work of assistants, PAs, everyone in the PO, the countless meetings, notes, long hours and hard work often rendered invisible, because you wake up the next day and do it all over again. This is how much love was poured into the show by everyone! So many talented people worked on this show and I feel so lucky to have been one of them!

Buckle up and watch the first 4 episodes of @htdahulu now! It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will remind you that you are the protagonist in your own story and that you should live your life that way, right [fucking] now!

Thank you to my friends and family! There’s no way I could do all of these things without your support and love! ✈️💖✨
