Sunday was tough. The heat and humidity made sure of that.

I went into Chicago with my mind set on one thing: I needed this. I needed to prove something to myself.

And somewhere in those miles, I was reminded just how much the people around you matter. Our support crew was absolutely spectacular. You never really know how much you need a hug, a smile, or someone looking you in the eyes and believing in you until you’re standing there needing that life-saving hug and smile to get you to the next checkpoint.

So I put my head down and grinded.

The miles were hot. They were hard. But I kept moving forward.

But the thing I’m most proud of isn’t the time.

It’s that I had the courage to start.

I showed up knowing it could be hard. I kept going when it was hard. And I proved to myself that I am stronger than I think.

And this one means a little more because I know what it took to earn it.⭐️

Proud of myself for persevering through tough conditions, for trusting the work, and for continuing to put one foot in front of the other.

Chicago, you were tough — but so was I. ❤️

London wasn’t just about 26.2 miles.

It was every early morning alarm.
Every long run squeezed into a busy week.
Every mile completed when work felt overwhelming.
Every run when life felt heavy.
Every moment we wondered if we’d be ready.

Training doesn’t happen when life slows down.
It happens while life keeps moving.

And somehow, through all of it, we kept showing up—not just for ourselves, but for each other.

Race day looked different for every one of us.
Different goals.
Different stories.
Different battles that no one else could see.

But what I’ll remember most isn’t the finish line.

It is, everyone deserves to be celebrated.

Because life is hard.
Training is hard.
And everyone is carrying something.

Sometimes the greatest victory isn’t the time on the clock—it’s showing up, encouraging one another, and crossing whatever finish line is in front of you.

I’m so grateful these miles brought many of us together. 🤍

Medal Monday! And a few of my favourite photos from the marathon!
I am still living my week in London, such an amazing week with great friends. And getting to run London marathon with them too! @leahdeejpark and @krisserp, thank you so much for running with me, the miles (and fuel times!) ticked by so quickly because we were having so much fun. Although not that quickly because I still finished in 06:54:11! I wanted to be quicker but my training cycle and the heat made us slow down and I am so glad we did because none of us felt bad when we finished. And we had more fun than chasing and stressing about a time!!
@brad_park1 needs a special mention!! Thanks for supporting and chasing us around London so we got to see and hug you at 3 different locations. I know it was hard going with the crowds, and we really did appreciate it!
Also shout out to @shortfatguy_runsthemajors for his tips on getting these great photos! If I never get to do London again, I know I have great photos and memories!!

I will stop sharing things about this, it’s been a week 😆
Although maybe I won’t because I haven’t even shared any photos from the days we were just walking around London! 💖

⭐️Thankful Tuesday post ⭐️

I’m still trying to find the right words… but thank you will never feel like enough.

The care, support, thoughtfulness, and love surrounding me during the London Marathon was something I will carry with me forever. It never went unnoticed—not for a single mile. Every step I took, I felt it.

To the incredible women beside me and to everyone back home cheering, texting, tracking, and believing in me… you truly made the difference. I would not have made it through that day without you.

This wasn’t just a race—it was a reminder of how powerful support, friendship, and community really are.

The support is unwavering, and I don’t think I could ever fully express my gratitude… but please know it meant everything to me.

Thank you for being part of every mile ❤️

Six months of running.

Six months ago, I decided to try something that felt hard and honestly a little intimidating. I had never been a runner. Now I can’t imagine my life without it.

Running has taught me that I can do hard things. It’s reminded me that I am worth taking care of and that it’s okay to have something that’s just mine. In a season of being in the trenches of raising kids and balancing a demanding job, these miles have become my reset, my confidence builder, and proof that I am stronger than I think.

Leah, I would not have started this without you. Your belief in me before I believed in myself changed everything. Thank you for the early mornings, the Saturday long runs, the encouragement, the check-ins, and the countless miles side by side. You’ve been such a huge part of this journey.

To my coach and the RunFitFab community, thank you for the guidance, the structure, the cheering, and the constant encouragement. It is such a welcoming, motivating, and genuinely kind group of people, and I feel lucky to be part of it.

To my husband, thank you for supporting the long runs, the training cycles, and the time this takes. I couldn’t do this without your encouragement and partnership.

I’m equal parts excited and nervous to run my first half marathon in April… and I hope it’s just the first of many.

Today our little family of baby elephants flew through the 13.1 miles. We all started in different places. And yet we each got to share miles together! This race was the end - for now- of Disneyland RunDisney races. And we celebrated with so much joy each and every mile. This race was also the last leg of my Dopey to Dumbo journey! What a crazy dream come true! And the final 5 miles of the race I ran with all my heart and soul and a ton of friendship with @leahdeejpark . We pushed our little legs and flew to the finish line. I leave this weekend with so many amazing memories and so much true joy and love in my heart. I never could have dreamed that this would be my life right now! I am so lucky to be right here - right now - with the most wonderful people. “We had so much fun!”

Today’s #disneylandhalfmarathon was the perfect see ya later send off for the Disneyland race weekends. Miles with friends who have turned into family is pure magic 💖

Today was a huge PR in fun. Friends that are now family ran 6.2 miles around Disneyland wearing It’s a Small World trash cans. We ran, we laughed, we sang, we found all the trash cans and took so many happy photos. California showed up beautifully! The weather is warm, the palm trees are beautiful, and the blue skies have been a delight. It is hard to believe but each run we take together just keeps getting better and better.💖 Our legs and feet may be just a little tired but our hearts are so full with joy and friendship! Today is now my new favorite 10k!

Soaking up all the magic and fun of these final Disneyland races. Today’s 10k was so much fun and I can’t wait to run 13.1 with friends tomorrow 💖
