From getting the right VFX supervisor on set to being intentional about every lighting setup, we made sure each shot was aligned with the world we were creating. The homes, the products, the environment — every aspect had to feel grounded in reality, particularly when we’re bringing Irish elements to life. From the beer brands to the pub, the details mattered. How do you execute a vision like this? Pre-production is EVERYTHING. We took the time upfront to plan meticulously — not just on the shots, but the atmosphere, the art, and even the smallest details that would resonate with our audience. Experts = Your Secret Weapon. Having a team of specialists meant every detail was handled with precision. From VideoFex experts to editors and VFX artists, we had people who were not only skilled but trusted collaborators on this project. You can’t pull this off without them. Every shoot is a puzzle. And the more you lean on the right people, the faster and smoother it comes together. The difference between a rushed, chaotic shoot and a cohesive masterpiece is all about the planning and the experts you pull in. Take this as a reminder: Don’t try to do it all yourself. You can’t “fix it in post” if you didn’t plan for it in pre.⁠ ⁠ Two weeks.⁠ Five+ scenes.⁠ Ten+ actors.⁠ One massive deadline.⁠ ⁠ The solution? Shoot everything on green screen, composite every environment, and pull off explosions + gunfights — all in under 14 days.⁠ ⁠ Sounds insane. It was. But it worked because:⁠ ⁠ Pre-production is king. Green screen doesn’t forgive sloppy planning. Every shot must be mapped before rolling.⁠ ⁠ Trust the experts. A killer editor + on-set VFX supervisor saved time, stress, and gave us creative freedom later.⁠ ⁠ The truth: directing isn’t about doing it all — it’s creating the conditions for excellence.
