Metro Champions! 🏆 So thankful to compete alongside these girls! We finished the Metro Tournament undefeated, taking 1st place without dropping a set!

Grateful for my teammates and coaches who continue to push me to compete, lead, and get better every time I step on the court.

I’m also honored to be named Player of the Game for the second year in a row. So grateful for the recognition and even more proud of what we accomplished together as a team.

Proud to be a Bear! 🐻🏐

POST-GAME DOESN’T MEAN NO WORK.

La Cueva varsity volleyball is back at The Athlete’s Playground for an active recovery session.

Part 1 is all about getting the body moving. We’re working through the hips, adductors, groin, hamstrings, glutes, and thoracic spine with controlled, active mobility.

For volleyball players, these areas matter. Getting low on defense, moving laterally, approaching the net, jumping, landing, and performing overhead movements all require the ability to move through the ranges the sport demands.

The goal is to maintain mobility, work through comfortable ranges of motion, and prepare the body for the strengthening work ahead—not turn recovery into another high-intensity session.

Get the body moving. Prepare it for the work.

Part 2: Foot and lower-leg strengthening.
