It’s been two years since our final bow. But when we’re together, it feels like we were on stage yesterday. ⭐️

And just like that, it’s nearly time to say goodbye to GSA. Just a few more academic pieces to write before we all officially go our separate ways and conquer the stages of the world. This isn’t all of our class but I’m so grateful for everyone I’ve encountered on this journey. You’re never too old to try something new and the support I’ve had from this group has been amazing. A year ago I didn’t know you and now I can’t imagine my life without you all.

Hunchback of Notre Dame // Stage Manager

Been a wild journey thus far constantly wondering if I’m doing enough/ good enough for this role. Far from being a perfect stage manager, leader and human being. But doing my best to be kind & true. Tech in 3 days!

What a “pinch me” job. One week I’m sitting at home sending out applications like the good lil’ freelancer I am, the next I am on a plane heading to Hamburg to jump into Act II rehearsals for the German language premiere production of Hamilton. Resulting in the three most intense, exciting and memorable months to date.

Some pictures from our formative assessment this week.
Working with some lovely people to put sound, lights and video equipment in a rehearsal room.
Here’s @carys.farndon and I morphing into sound technicians

Super excited to get started as ASM on Lambs.
We’ve done our mark up, done a prop extraction, had a cheeky trip to the workshop and even found a sink!
