This was my first year doing public relations work at the Minnesota State Fair and it was so much fun! This marked the 70th anniversary on the fairgrounds for the Danielson family, who started selling pizza in 1956. In 1963, they introduced their onion rings to fairgoers and the recipe hasn’t changed since.

Their booth is now operated by the 2nd and 3rd generation, and everyone who works at Danielson’s & Daughters Onion Rings, along with their other booth, Route 66 Roadhouse Chicken & Potato Skins, are incredible to work with. They made this year’s fair a refreshing and rewarding change. I am so glad @goffpublic was able to share their story on TV, radio and print this year. Danielson’s & Daughters was featured on WCCO-TV, KSTP-TV, KMSP-TV, KARE-TV, WDIO-TV, WCCO-AM, Minnesota Star Tribune and by many social influencers!
