What a Run @delhihalfmarathon

Look at the photos at a pace of 3:30 to 3:19/km! Every time, I'm chasing PBs and podiums, but this time, I was clear about one thing: just smile at every photographer! 😂 The credit for the poses goes to @amar_devanda sir.

I usually never follow anyone during a race, but Amar sir was on point, crushing every kilometre at exactly 3:30 pace. The way he was cheering for the crowd was just unbelievable 🥵... If someone can cheer for the crowd while running at 3:30 pace, just imagine the hard work behind it! 🫡

When your heart and mind sync together, there's nothing that can stop you from doing what you love. ❤️

Delhi was just a benchmark to check my current fitness level. Coming back from dengue with just 400 km of running over the last 6 weeks, running a 72-minute HM was not at all easy for me. But I've learnt that my body can push much, much harder than my mind thinks it can. 💯

Always grateful to the people, especially @anagh_krishna92, who are helping me on my journey to achieve my dream. As a working professional, everyone knows how hard it is to run a 2:27 marathon and a 1:11/1:12 HM. But when we see the legend @kartikkarkera17 doing both, we realise that we can do it too! 💯

Fuel used during the run:

- 3 × Unived 100 gels
- 600 ml of Unived Elite Mix @univedsports

It's time to work hard for the next 3 months! 💯

Discipline – Hard Work – Consistency 🔁

🏃‍♂️ 11 Months. 8 Events. 3 Half Marathons. One Incredible Journey.

Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026 | 21.1 KM

Stepping into the 11th month of my running journey.
My 8th running event.
My 3rd Half Marathon.
And another milestone to remember.

It all started in December 2025, at the age of 33.
What began as a simple weight-loss journey gradually evolved into something much bigger.

Something I never imagined would become such an important part of my life.

Just one month away from completing a full year, I look back at how far this journey has taken me.
And the beautiful part?
It keeps getting bigger and better with every passing day.

But this race was a little different.
Three months away from running because of an injury.
Two months of complete rest.
A slow return to rehabilitation, followed by barely three weeks of running again.
Still recovering.
Still rebuilding.
Still nowhere near where I want to be.

And yet, somehow, a new personal best!
From 1:39:55 to 1:30:19.
9 minutes and 36 seconds faster than my previous race best.

Not fully recovered yet, and still a long way to go before I can return to proper training.
For now, the priority remains the same.
Recover completely. Build consistently. Train better.

The journey has been incredible so far, but I believe there is still so much more to come.
A long way to go. And a lot more to achieve.

One step at a time.
One race at a time.
