Outside, Inside. Now is the time for our beautiful line-up. @hoodbabyblu @d3nim @tah_heaux @a_sarr @89aintonthegram @dreambeachhh @ikonika_ @nadus Some of the story behind the night... I reached out to New Jersey community stalwart Nadus (Brick Bandits / Thread / LEAP) and D3NIM at DIY platform No Vista, to connect film with community presence, and through archival celebration, host a night on at Allure Lounge on Halsey Street, Newark. Through a line-up that spans Jersey greats such as TAH, HOODBABYBLUE, and Nadus himself with Rahway MC 89 the Brainchild – along with cross-state acts like A. Sarr and dream beach and UK-inbounders IKONIKA – the event will be captured in a short film about the importance of people in a space, and how that avoids the erasure of vital sources. We believe that through archiving cultural heritage and community spaces through fictive narratives such as novels and films, that we can protect the spaces that provide safety and recognition for underrepresented communities – in turn making it more possible for community ownership, sustainable nightlife and safer spaces to be grounded in media VJing is an elongation of a portal by @d3nim blended into mist by @iritadescent Space design by @rugirugz The beginning of a lot. 💜🧞‍♀️🔮

Last of the LA Dump 🫡, BODY HEAT EDITION! “A night for the beat geeks & floor freaks” is such a fire tagline and sums everything up! 🤓🕺🏽 Much love to the BH gang for having me out a second time. So stoked for this squad that just came up on their TWO YEAR Anniversary! The night was full of quality tunes being rinsed by some quality and DOPE DJs/producers of the LA scene. It felt so damn good to unapologetically sling club music and get some bodies grooving🥵🥵🥵 thank you for having me and blessing the kid with the celebratory shirt, so crazy seeing my name printed onna shirt alongside some HEAVY hitters!!! Until next time 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾 Up next, tomorrow I’m mega hype to have London’s Ikonika, Detroit’s Dream Beach, and Newark’s finest, Nadus to come rock with Javascript and I! Cutting edge and forward thinking club/dance music all night! ⚔️⚔️⚔️

This Friday we welcome West London’s @ikonika_ and Detroit’s @dreambeachhh to Newark, NJ for ‘Outside, Inside’ a collaborative event and initiative by @tice.cin’s @neoprenegenie from London and my newly formed label @leaprecordings in association with @no.vista meant to archive cultural heritage and community spaces globally through fictive narratives such as novels and films, so that we can protect the spaces that provide safety and recognition for underrepresented communities – in turn making it more possible for community ownership, sustainable nightlife and safer spaces to be grounded in media. To coincide with the evening of talent and sonics we will be shooting a short film about connection and love as well and would love if the tribe made it out. Though this film is meant to also amplify OUR Club music it is also meant to show the connectivity of sounds and culture throughout the diaspora. Hope to see you all there. Ticket Link is in my bio and if you have any questions please feel free to DM me. #leap

D3NIM during his début London show this year, with Kerri Chandler bringing lovely energies besides him. D3NIM is an activator in the New Jersey scene, an enigmatic NJ based DJ and producer who specialises in hazy house grooves, Jersey club, techno, ear-perking remixes and experimental sounds - genre blending and mesmeric. His 3D art and motion design has been commissioned internationally, and he co-owns fashion brand Harmony Peace Corps, with designer Tokyo Joe. D3NIM is part of a new gen in the Jersey music scene bringing his own take to its DIY culture with his incendiary events platform No Vista - curating sell-out shows with the likes of Tony Humphries, DJ Tameil and Night Slug's Bok Bok. His radio appearances include a No Vista residency with Threads (check out his latest with another Jersey stalwart TAH), and sets with New Town Radio, MODE FM, Voices, and foundation.fm - eclectic hybrid sets, each inspired by a cinematic narrative arc. See him for his last set of the year at Outside, Inside in Newark on Friday 15th December at Allure Lounge - thrown by NADUS (LEAP) with Neoprene Genie & No Vista. Joined by international headliner Ikonika, dream beach, 89 the Brainchild, A. Sarr, NADUS, Tice Cin, HOODBABYBLUE and TAH. 🌌 🎥 Shot by the crowd and @shotbyfaris2 at IMMERSION presented by Neoprene Genie and fwrdmtn* 🌌

Ikonika mixing eclectic 130 beats for @poundandyam @ikonika_ is one of the most respected names in the UK bass diaspora, after more than ten years, four albums, dozens of EPs, and gigs all over the globe. Best known for her numerous releases on and affiliation with Hyperdub Records, as well as EPs on DBA, Night Slugs and more recently Club Djembe, she is an artist ever in motion, now light years away from the post-dubstep landscape where she first made her name. While certain aspects of her sound remain consistent – a love of club-friendly rhythms purpose built with digital flair and a strong sense of melody – the diversity of her interests – pop, R&B, bashment – have become even more apparent in recent music. She's opened up to singing herself on new material she has written, giving her productions a lighter pop feel. This includes the Amapiano soaked and sensual 'Bubble Up' EP and has led to a new live show which combines singing, with live edits of her songs as well as DJing. This show premiered to a rapt audience at Panorama Bar in September 2022. She has an upcoming single with our friends at @nightslugs - and in the midst of all this busyness she'll be exploring her sound even further in Jersey, NYC and Philly on this upcoming trip - touching down stateside in a few days time! @poundandyam is an independent online radio station, creative studio and platform that aims to provide an inclusive collaborative spotlight that explores and bridges the world of music, arts, socials and happenings globally, all while being rooted in London (Dalston to be exact 🥰) We're so excited to host Ikonika in Newark, New Jersey on Dec 15th for our special community oriented club night OUTSIDE, INSIDE celebrating the local scene and it's global connects. 3 orgs are joining forces to make this extra lush, Neoprene Genie, NADUS's new interdisciplinay venture @leaprecordings and DIY activators @no.vista Line-up: HOODBABYBLUE D3NIM TAH 89 the Brainchild A. dream beach at The Lot Radio. dream beach is a Metro Detroit born electronic music producer, musician and dj. dream is an exciting artist who places warmth and wonder-like intuition at the top of his list when crafting songs and performances. Last week dream DJ'd for raphy at a party helmed by Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist. He recently took part in Bruiser Thanksgiving for Danny Brown – the final hometown holiday show, ending a ten-year tradition – dream DJ'd for artist and collaborator Squadda B. Sharpening his swords over the past few years providing production for Fat Ray and Bruiser Wolf on Danny Brown’s Bruiser Brigade record label, Dream is no newcomer to adding vocal artists to his production. His recent album 'Volcano!' undulates in nature, and whispers of the highs and lows of two moods, in an experiment of synth-core, Detroit techno, ghetto house, B-more, breakbeat, UKG, Jersey club and ambient music. A rhythmical fuse that demonstrates dream's long teeth in the ability to create highly technical, dance-driven and emotional songs. See dream beach at Outside, Inside in Newark at a special community night run by Neoprene Genie, NADUS's new interdisciplinay venture @leaprecordings with DIY activators @no.vista on Friday 15th December at Allure Lounge. Outside, Inside will be immersive, sentimental and unique. It'll be getting filmed beautifully too. Cop tickets on Ticket Tailor, Resident Advisor or OTD. https://ra.co/events/1811661
