Super late Tribeca post but better late than never— Tribeca Festival 2026 was an especially special one— having a project I worked on— Shooting Stars— directed by one of my best friends @dpoler produced by my friends @alexstegmaier @pau.dragon and DP by my AFI classmate @pcikhart premiering at Tribeca was truly a special experience!! It is always a very fun festival full of friends from in and out of town. Also honored to be on committee planning a Tv academy panel on storytelling ! As always great HRTS, Gigantic, TV academy and many other events! Photo 1 credit by Liz Nord! #tribeca #tribecafestival #espnfilm #shootingstars

in june, i had the privilege of moderating the television academy east coast committee’s inaugural panel during tribeca festival week in nyc — built different: how today’s creators are defining success on their own terms. every opportunity i get to be in my element, i don’t take for granted.

@cassiedamsel, @lee.citron, @lizamandelup, and @emilyroselyons brought the room to life and i’m always in awe of being in a space with peers whose work continues to push storytelling forward. thank you all for saying yes and trusting our vision to serve our east coast members.

thank you to the subcommittee for showing up and showing out and seeing this thang through.

@farnorth.mid, thank you for pulling up on the photography assist. you stay ready and i’m forever grateful. YOU ARE APPRECIATED (2Pac voice)

nueva york, see you at the next one.

This week has been full of mixed emotions. I’m grateful for my incredibly supportive wife @staceywhatwhat, a creative and business partner who also happens to be my best friend @lee.citron, and a whole bunch of collaborators who believe in what we are building with @vhsdates and beyond! Lots more fun stuff to come in 2026. We’re just getting started! What an incredible class of @tribeca NOW creators to be apart of. So much talent! And thanks for joining the celebration and being a part of this insane project @rygaul @allisondunbar @kimbercondict @devonmdrew @ashleymichaelbell
