I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity the Lord provided me. My experience in Nairobi, Kenya truly transformed my life and left a lasting impact on my heart. Being able to serve alongside God’s amazing disciples and witness a culture that loves Him so deeply filled my soul. I’m incredibly thankful for everything God allowed me to experience, and I’ll carry these memories with me forever.

Thankful and free.

That’s how I felt leaving Kenya. Grateful for every conversation, every smile, every hand held and every deep conversation. Free in letting go of the routines and details that seem so important and seeing what truly matters.

So proud of our team and the way they served, loved, and stepped outside their comfort zones. What a trip. 🇰🇪❤️

God is working in Chembulet!!! I had the most amazing opportunity to spend the week with the most amazing people in Kenya. I was humbled time and time again this week and I feel like I was taught more this week about our Lord than I could have ever taught them. His light shines so brightly in the darkest places and I’ll forever be in awe of the way he works. I wish I could have stayed there forever, I’m forever changed I love you Kenya 🌈💖🐿️🌎

I’m having such a hard time putting into words the amount of joy and love I have witnessed these past 10 days. Whether it was 48-hour travel days on and off of planes, 8-hour bus rides, getting chased by packs of children, or even pulling water out of a well, a smile never seemed to leave my face.
I never fully understood what it meant to feel and see God's kingdom until this past week. Between the people I had known for years and the people I had just met this week, both from Kenya and America, I believe without a doubt I will meet them all again through the golden gates.
I have learned so much—not just about African culture and lifestyles, but about myself. One thing I can’t seem to shake is that no matter which side of the globe we are on, there is one common denominator that connects us. That denominator is Jesus. Whether it’s His peace or His love, He is evident everywhere. He is constant and is so present in Kenya.
I admire everything about this place I now call home: their joy in the valleys, their presence in their communities, their kindness to strangers, and their love for Jesus that pours out even in this drought.
I will never forget the love I was shown this week from the team I am so proud to say I served with, and from my newfound friends across the world. Until next time, Kenya, but for now, Kwaheri.

When the Lord is on the throne, mambo sawa sawa!!! 🇰🇪💛🌾

Still at a loss of words from all the last 10 days has brought! Going into this week I had plenty of feelings of doubt, anxiety, and uncertainty of what was to come. Yet God remained faithful and answered prayers in more ways than I could have imagined!

He showed us His grace, presence, and pure love in each and every day- in the mountains we drove through, the songs we sang, the prayers we prayed, and most importantly, in the people we met in Chembulet, Kenya. This community was truly the definition of “love where you live.” They welcomed us with open arms, ready to see how we could grow and learn together in the presence of the Lord. And that’s just what we did! We collaborated at each of their different churches, made so many beaded bracelets, played lots of soccer, and even spent a whole day in the life with different families.

I thank God that He opened my eyes and my heart to all He is really capable of! The families and kids in Chembulet love each other and Jesus so well, and that was evident in the way they loved us. We got to be the hands and the feet of the Lord, but they also poured just as much into us. I believe God moved so strongly in each of our lives this week, and I can’t wait to see what He’ll continue to do! Thank you Kenya for loving us just as much as we loved you! #BWE 🥑🪨
