made a racket on the courts for the last time 💗

—

geez, what do i even say? for 4 years i have spent so much of my time, sweat, blood, and tears on these courts, and it’s honestly crazy to think ill never play with bellevue ever again. my freshman year i walked onto the varsity team with a brave face and a senior partner, and built up my own legacy on this team. my partner and i dominated my freshman year in doubles, and by junior year, i became co-captain alongside @natalie__littlejohn and even got my bestfriend to join tennis for a season. (i love you tasha) i worked for years to become the player i am today, and i am so grateful i got to relive the best times of my tennis career again this year with my little freshman @annachristman2030. this time around, i got to be the senior partner who i had my freshman year, and i had the best season i could’ve possibly hoped for. we ended the season with a dang near perfect record, at 15-2. this year healed an old would in my heart and i couldn’t have asked for a better partner. anna, my little mental patient, never give up that drive to win and be the best you can be. you are so so talented, and i can’t wait to see what you do in the next few years. roosi, im so glad you got to experience this year with us, and i am so happy i get to call you a friend. to the rest of my team, thank you for being so steadfast and a continuous part of my tennis career. i “love” you all💗
