Hello out there, Leeds and our lovely CA community! 👋

Is it just us, or has it been reallyyyyy quiet up this end of Chapel Allerton lately? 👀

It's been noticeable for a few weeks now, and we're seeing far fewer of our usual lovely faces popping in. We know routines change, budgets are stretched and life gets busy — we get it, honestly! ❤️

But the reality of running a little independent café bakery is that we can't survive on more quiet days than busy ones. 🥹

We're a bright, colourful little space serving up freshly baked bons, sweet treats, savoury rolls, really good coffee and a friendly face. Whether you're after a quick grab-and-go, a little treat, a catch-up with a friend or somewhere different to work for an hour, there's a seat waiting for you. 💗

We put a lot of love, time and resources into our daily bakes because we want you to have choice and something lovely to look forward to. But with rising costs and quieter days, we're having to take a proper look at our opening hours and what is sustainable for us as a small business.

We don't want to close another day, and we certainly don't want to close our doors for good. We'd love to keep growing here and being part of the CA community. But we also need to be realistic about what we can sustain.

So, rather than sit here guessing, we'd genuinely love to hear from you! 🫶

We're just a small, indie business trying to make it work, learn as we go, keep doing what we & you love that sets us apart with our diner bakes & desserts.
