POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A little under two months ago, I left New York. I spent 9 years there being a student, a scientist but most importantly a friend.

A few months before leaving, I promised myself that I would not cry until I got on the plane. I wanted my eyes free of tears so that I could really behold all those I held dear and make memories I’d keep forever. I held that promise until this day.

What started off as a simple lunch date with the girls ended in a surprise farewell party for me. My anxious nature prevented me from fully being present then but as I have time to reflect now I am overwhelmed with the gratitude and love I feel for my friends, my family.

To PBP- You have made these 9 years a dream. You showed me what love truly was. You created the perfect environment for me to become who I am today. You made me soft where I was hard, and strong where I was weak. I work everyday to become someone worthy of you all.

There’s many of my favorite people missing from these pictures, but one thing I pride myself on is the people I love will never have to guess how I feel about them and if you ever do, trust I will never let it happen again. You are in my heart. Carved with a knife and branded with a flame.

I truly hope that this goodbye doesn’t remain so and turns into a see you later. You will always have a place to stay in Montreal now.

SN: stop gatekeeping the pics and send them to me NEOW.

With endless love,
Fatim
