Honouring the Cornish language during the filming “Ple’ma Morwenna?”, thanks to the hard work of translators Emma Jenkin and Pol Hodge at @speakcornish who ensured that Kernewek was translated and pronounced accurately for every word of our film (day one of filming).

“Bound at the Wrist” is finished and more or less ready to hit the festival circuit. I had such a blast working on this despite a couple of the date being hotter than a McDonald’s apple pie, it was a privilege to work with such a dedicated and talented cast and crew and I look forward to seeing what you all get up to next.. and for me, well I’m just the puppet guy! 🤷🏼‍♂️ #shortfilm #comedyhorror #blackcomedy #ventriloquistpuppet #ventriloquist

WE CAME RUNNER-UP!! 🥈🎬

Absolutely over the moon that Under the Surface / Yn-Dann an Enep was named runner-up in the Quick Cut 90 Second Film Challenge at Cornwall Film Festival!

This tiny film was a real team effort, made with an incredible cast and crew who gave their time, talent and trust to help bring it to life. Although my name might be on the certificate, this achievement belongs to every single person who worked on it.

Seeing our film projected on the big screen was already a pretty special feeling. Coming away with runner-up honestly makes it even better.

A massive thank you to everyone involved, to Cornwall Film Festival for screening our work and congratulations to overall winner Guy Davies!

We only bloody did it! 🥈❤️
