Back to the good ol' days of 2016 for this pic! Please take a moment to read the description to see what separates us. Couldn't have done it without @timmy_b20 and @theycallmedk and everyone else who took a chance on me along the way.

While many coaches think primarily in terms of exercises or general movement patterns, we break things down much further. To simplify it, we think at the joint level.

For every dynamic movement an athlete performs, we examine the responsibility of each joint and identify the weakest link. We then train that weakness specifically and progressively until it becomes a strength.

We pride ourselves on not skipping steps. We look at the body like a puzzle, where every piece must be placed methodically. We cannot skip ahead of where the athlete currently is.

Every athlete has energy leaks. Although those leaks may not be causing problems right now, they can eventually limit performance or contribute to issues elsewhere. This proactive approach helps athletes break through plateaus, mitigate injury risk, and elevate their performance.

You constantly hear about the negative effects of the world we live in. Kids are spending more time on their phones, playing outside less, and specializing in one sport at increasingly younger ages. Some are playing the same sport year-round before they are even teenagers.

As coaches, we have to account for that reality or the problem will only continue to grow.

That is why we place such a strong emphasis on developing general movement ability rather than making everything overly sport-specific. The better an athlete can move in a wide variety of environments, the stronger their foundation becomes and the more room they have for future growth.

That is why our athletes crawl, climb, squat, lunge, tumble, wrestle, roughhouse, and play. It also connects directly to the first point: identifying and developing the weak links that often result from a lack of free play and quality physical education.

This is what gets me out of bed every morning.

I feel incredibly grateful to be in a position where I get to watch these kids grow up. I meet many of the

One of our favorite moments from this weekend… and it had nothing to do with training speed, change of direction, or even programming.

🙏🏻So lucky to have @leetaft on our board of directors and extremely thankful for all the other coaches, clinicians, and mentors that are knowingly (or unknowingly) on our board.

🙋🏻‍♂️Who’s on your board of directors?
