Starting September off strong🔥

He is God in the chapter. He is God before the chapter. He is God after the chapter. He is God. Praise the Author & Finisher, the Friend named Jesus who has been consistent to relay the voice of the Father at every perfect time. Much will be different this senior year at the uni, yet all is well… bc He sustains surrender. Thank you God & @leeureslife for the past 2 years of chaplaincy, for gracing my vessel with the opportunity to glean & grow through what God was making beautiful in His time. Praise for unpredictable blessings & impossibilities that only the question of endurance could have led to such a seeking of His heart. God is faithful to teach & supersede insufficiency as His Spirit equips for every good work, bc He cares for His name & His people more than we ever could🫀And I continue to see His hand as the testimony of being brought into the RC realm moves on to capture and bless another vessel - amen. Oh how mindful of the details He is !
To my teammates of iron, residents who have even become friends, longtime & Lee-time friends who have kept me tender, leaders who have encouraged & helped carry what I couldn’t perceive God was doing yet, ministry spaces that have not let me forget His banner over His people, plus every other vessel of His light: love ya. I am not the same 🕊️ Whatever His ministerial call means post college, it has been deeply seeded… as now I am more firmly seated in Him. Here are some memories from last year that stay a remembrance of the Lord into the final one 🤍 From familiar to further, as His Spirit breathes.

I have spent the last seven years at Lee- which is such an insane statement. This week, Zach and I graduate with our Masters degrees!! It’s so bittersweet but wow am I beyond ready for what God has in store next.

Lee has given me the space to ask really hard questions and to be encouraged by the fact that God likes when we ask the Lord questions. During my Master’s I primarily focused my work on disability, engaging with questions around God’s role in disability and ways that the Church could and should be more inclusive to people with disabilities and families with neurodivergent kids. In the Fall I get to continue asking how God’s care for the marginalized should move the Church to look more like Jesus through work on immigration policies and answering the question “who is my neighbor” from a theological lens. In doing this, I will be pursuing a Th. M. at Fuller Theological Seminary! Thank you Jesus for the gift of education, for continuing to break my heart for what breaks yours, and for professors that encourage me to rest in your beloved presence.
